Zest Physiotherapy is a team of friendly physiotherapists, we specialise in working with people in their own homes with the added element of Zest.
Our treatment approach is special. We specialise in working with people 65+ and we consider Zest to be an essential element to living a long, healthy, happy life. We can help you to find the mindset, motivation and energy to improve your health and wellbeing.
Services are delivered by Lead Physiotherapist, Pauline Virgo and her team of associate physiotherapists, occupational therapists, speech and language therapists and dietitians.
Zest Physiotherapy was created in 2015 by Pauline Virgo, an entrepreneurial self-starter with 20 years experience as a physiotherapist.
With her flexible approach and taking the time to get to know clients, clients told Pauline that the greatest impact she was having was in restoring their beliefs that they could take charge of their health and wellbeing. Pauline was helping people realise that with the right mindset, motivation and grit during times of adversity, results were achievable. Pauline gave her clients the confidence to gain control, be more positive, and stick to a plan consistently to get the results they want. It is this, essential element that we call ‘Zest’.
The consultancy work Zest has been doing with 3 local care homes had seen all of them improve their CQC reports particularly in the area of safety, through the falls and fracture management services that we have developed. This has now expanded to offer a multi-professional support team for our care home owners and managers including occupational therapy, speech and language therapy and dietitian services.
Zest Physiotherapy’s excellent reputation has spread, and the practise has grown. I have been lucky enough to find other like-minded friendly and enthusiastic therapists to work alongside me in my mission to bring the Element of Zest to our clients.
For our team of self-employed health professionals, we aim to create an enjoyable, positive way of working that allows for creativity and flexibility that has the potential to reshape the reputation of community services and deepen the impact we have in our work.
